- Anne Cranny-Francis - University of Technology Sydney, Australia, Macquarie University, Australia
The phenomenal growth of multimedia has given rise to debates on the role of technology, the skills required for their production and use, and the ethics and politics involved in these new embodied interactions.
Anne Cranny-Francis develops a clear framework for those seeking to understand the complex world of multimedia and its impact on everyday life.
In the book titled 'Multimedia' author Anne Cranny-Francis offers a deep framework of understanding multimedia. However, the level of theoretical understanding of my Multimedia Technology students is not perhaps ideal in this case as they pursue a more hands-on education at our University of Applied Sciences. This book could be a fantastic supplement to students who work on their thesis and are seeking for more in depth information on the topic. It is a valuable resource for me as an educator and I will definitely read it and refer to it in my lectures!
I found this a rather academic text for undergrads on the course I run but excellant for theoretical knowledge
