This is a wonderful contribution to the array of mixed-methods research books. It is a how-to-do book with rich examples and is written in simple language that will be easy for readers to grasp. Although the book focuses on mixed methods, much of the practical information will be useful for preparation of quantitative only and qualitative only manuscripts.

This work is an excellent resource for those who are seeking to publish mixed methods research in an academic journal. There are several unique attributes that will help students, such as publication checklists which help the student reflect on their formatting. As my own dissertation was a mixed methods project, this resource would have been useful when preparing for publication. I highly recommend this work!
