Michelle Wolkomir is the Tracie Whitehurst Woods Board of Regents Endowed Professor in Sociology and the director of Gender Studies at Centenary College. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, sexuality, and inequality. Her book, Be Not Deceived: The Sacred and Sexual Struggles of Gay and Ex-Gay Christian Men, was awarded the 2006 American Sociological Association’s book award in sexualities.
