This pocket-sized book is a perfect companion for second and third year students, as it provides step-by-step instructions on how to carry out clinical skills such as medicine administration, giving transfusions, catheterisation and other advanced skills, and goes across both acute and community settings.

I was not impressed by the lay out and it has limited application for the classroom- it's a good pocket book for students but will not feature on reading lists.
