Providing rapid, impartial, and comprehensive coverage of published and forthcoming materials on African affairs gathered from worldwide sources,
A Current Bibliography on African Affairs is compiled as a quarterly guide for study and research in the field of African Studies and related subjects. It presents a thoughtful selection of references on a considerable diversity of materials, not only in subject matter and geographical selection, but also in its focus on a sociotechnical approach to African affairs.
The journal is arranged in four parts:
- features
- book reviews
- bibliographic section
- author index
For all interested in Africa,
A Current Bibliography on African Affairs provides a current, comprehensive, and annotated bibliography. The journal's source materials are both African and international. The scope of the journal will continue to grow to reflect the wide range of viewpoints on given topics. The Author Index is cumulative within each volume, a list of source documents appears for materials cited, and a Regional Index for cross-referencing the General Section will appear in the fourth issue of each volume.
