Within this book I particularly liked the chapter on developments within partnership working and the reason for this is because it didn't just focus on England it looked at perspectives from around the world. The reflective points are also very beneficial within this book as that allows you time to think about practice and put things identifed in the book in to perspective.
I really useful book giving clear reference to theory but also giving examples of practice. I am recommending this text book to all of my level 5 learners.

Essential book that 'tells it like it is'. Students have enjoyed engaging with the materials and have often reported the ease of understanding Gasper's writing. A must have for an Early Years or Early Childhood Studies student.
Very good book that gives the reader detailed awareness of many of aspects of integrated working, particularly with the significant focus on this within our degree programme, where multi-agency working interweaves across all modules. Useful examples are particularly helpful for students who have had limited experience of multi-agency working and the many different strands to this.

A useful book that can be easily used by BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies throughout their studies.
This book provides a welcome and thorough exploration of the development, benefits and challenges of multi-agency working in the context of Early Years. I found the references to partnership working in other countries to be particularly interesting in the way they draw out how some aspects of partnership working are universal. Each section contains 'Points for reflection' - a welcome reminder of an essential part of the process for all of us, and an opportunity to pause and apply what we've just read to our own practice.
