Josh has been at SAGE since January 2014 starting with our College Sales department and is now acquisitions editor for Anthropology, Family Sciences, Sociology of Gender and Sexualities, Social Work, and Human Services. He enjoys experiencing the publishing process from beginning to end and building strong relationships with authors, instructors, and colleagues.

Robert (Bob) Farrell
Bob has been in the publishing business for over 25 years, starting in higher education sales and quickly went from sales representative to sales manager. He has spent about half of his career in sales and half in editorial acquisitions with leadership positions in companies such as Mosby-Yearbook, Houghton Mifflin, Tesh Media Group, Cengage, and two successful publishing startups. As executive editor, he focuses his acquisitions efforts on the economics discipline and on the areas of operations management, decision sciences, and international business.
Maggie is acquisitions editor for SAGE's college textbook program in business and management focused on organizational behavior, HRM, entrepreneurship, ethics, and leadership. She joined SAGE in 2010, and her early work has focused on editorial development of best-selling texts. Now she is eager to work with authors at leading business schools to continue the SAGE tradition of developing an outstanding list of business and management titles to meet the needs of instructors and students.
COMMUNICATION & MEDIA STUDIES
Lily is acquisitions editor for Speech, Mass Communication and Media Studies at SAGE. She joined SAGE in 2018 after successful sales roles at Pearson and Oxford University Press. She started her career in editorial at Pearson and is looking forward to signing new authors, developing first editions and creating new digital solutions for her Communication program.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & CRIMINOLOGY
Jessica is the acquisitions editor for SAGE’s criminal justice and criminology college textbook program. She joined SAGE in 2013 and has helped develop several best-selling titles for the Criminal Justice and Criminology list. Furthering SAGE’s commitment to quality and engaged scholarship, Jessica is eager to partner with existing and new authors to publish innovative content that both informs and inspires students.
Leah is acquisitions editor for books in education. She joined SAGE in 2007 as a member of the Editorial Acquisitions Team in the SAGE Journals division, lately responsible for managing and acquiring journals in research methods, political science, urban studies, and social work. In 2015, she joined the College Editorial Team as acquisitions editor. Leah acquires projects for the interdisciplinary research methods list as well as education. She is excited to work with scholars, teachers, and practitioners in the education discipline to develop innovative solutions to teaching problems and to train the next generation of teachers.
POLITICAL SCIENCE & PUBLIC AFFAIRS: CQ Press Imprint
Monica is the executive publisher at SAGE. She manages Editors for Political Science (CQ Press) as well as those in Communication, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Women’s Studies and Gender Studies. She is responsible for the overall strategic vision, research, and mission for print and innovative digital in these programs. She joined SAGE in May 2017 after working at Cengage and McGraw-Hill and finds the driven, yet collaborative, thoughtful, and intellectual culture at SAGE both refreshing and inspiring.
Scott is an acquisitions editor for the political science list at CQ Press. Focusing on international relations, comparative politics, intelligence, and public affairs, Scott joined Sage/CQ Press in 2017 and comes from a background of both editorial and content marketing. His love for quality content has spanned the publishing industry from newspapers and magazines to trade nonfiction and academic publishing.
Lauren is the senior acquisitions editor for Congressional Quarterly Press. She joined SAGE/CQ Press in 2018 after successful editorial roles at Macmillan, Elsevier and Houghton Mifflin where she headed up editorial lists for physical, life sciences and math lists. A true signer and exceptional list manager, Lauren is looking forward to continuing to sign, grow and develop new digital for the American Government side of CQ Press.
PSYCHOLOGY AND COUNSELING
Lara is acquisitions editor with SAGE's college textbook program in psychology. Lara focuses on growth and editorial development in the fields of social and developmental psychology. She worked in editorial, sales, and specialized marketing capacities with SAGE Publishing, McGraw-Hill Higher Education, and Pearson Education prior to becoming an Acquisitions Editor in 2015. Lara is excited to partner with authors, instructors, and students to develop outstanding textbooks and innovative tools for social and developmental psychology at SAGE.
Abbie is an acquisitions editor for SAGE’s college textbook program in psychology and counseling. Abbie focuses on growth and editorial development in the fields of cognitive, biological, and clinical psychology, as well as in counseling. She joined SAGE in 2013 and has managed the development of a number of high-quality print and digital texts across multiple disciplines before joining the acquisitions team in 2016. She looks forward to collaborating with authors to publish innovative content that speaks to instructor and student needs.
RESEARCH METHODS, STATISTICS & EVALUATION
Helen is senior acquisitions editor for research methods, statistics, and evaluation and works across all areas of the list. Helen has more than 20 years of publishing experience, and has worked in both the U.K. and the U.S. She previously held senior positions in marketing at SAGE. Helen brings her international experience and marketing know-how to help authors shape their books to best meet the needs of the market.
Leah is acquisitions editor for books in research methods and statistics, working with Helen Salmon across all areas of the list. She joined SAGE in 2007 as a member of the editorial acquisitions team in journals, lately responsible for managing and acquiring journals in research methods, political science, urban studies, and social work. In 2015, she joined the College Editorial team as acquisitions editor. Leah is eager to continue SAGE's strong tradition of high-quality, innovative research methods and statistics publishing. Jeff is publisher of the college textbook program in sociology. He joined SAGE in 2013 with 27 years of sales, marketing, and editorial experience in higher education publishing. Jeff spent 13 years signing and publishing works in the humanities and social sciences for Pearson Education, including 9 years managing Pearson's program in sociology.
