Ann Scheck McAlearney, ScD, MS, is professor of Family Medicine and vice chair for Research in the Department of Family Medicine in the College of Medicine and professor of Health Services Management in the College of Public Health at the Ohio State University. She has more than 30 years of health services research experience and has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, 10 monographs, and 60 book chapters. Her ongoing research focuses on information technology innovations in health care, population health management, quality improvement, and organizational development, and she is an expert in both qualitative and mixed methods analyses. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University’s T. H. Chan School of Public Health.
