Filomena Rodrigues graduated from the University of Lisbon (UL) in 2009. After 2 years of being a secondary school science teacher, she enrolled in a master’s degree at the same institution. She completed this degree in 2013, under the supervision of Dr. Maria João Mogarro. Afterward, for a year, she taught didactics and supervised internships of initial teacher education programs at Escola Superior de Educação Almeida Garrett. At the same time, she started her PhD at UL. She is currently developing this PhD, also under the supervision of Dr. Maria João Mogarro, with a full-time scholarship provided by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (SFRH/BD/111488/2015).
