Masao Kikuchi is associate professor of public policy and management at Meiji University, Japan. His research on performance management, financial administration, and environmental policy has been published in the Public Administration Review, the Asian Review of Public Administration, the Journal of Regional Studies and Development, and other chapters and monographs. He received his Ph. D in political science from Meiji University in 2008.
