Shivganesh Bhargava Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

Shivganesh Bhargava (Ph. D.) is a Professor of Shailesh J Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay and Director, IIT Bombay-Washington University Research & Education Academy. He is Coordinator of the Executive Programme in Management (EPM) since 2004. Started career in Research at IIM Ahmedabad (1980-1984), he joined IIT Bombay (1991) as Assistant Professor and also served as Associate Professor (2000-2002) at IIM, Lucknow. He is recipient of the VKRV Rao Award (2003) in Management by the ICSSR, MPCOST Young Scientist Award (1988) by MP Young Science Congress Association and ISCA Young Scientist Award (1986) by Indian Science Congress Association. Also, Best Paper Awards by the Academy of Management (2012) and International Human Resource Management (2010) are to his credit. Recently, Bombay Management Association has recognized him for Excellence in Capacity Building of People with Technology and Innovation. Other recognitions include Education Leadership Award, Outstanding Contribution to Education and Best Professor in Human Resources Management by the World Education Congress. He has published three books from the Sage Publication entitled Transformational Leadership: Value- Based Management for Indian Organizations, Developmental Aspects of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Management and over 175 research papers in the international/national journals as well as conferences/seminars/symposia. His publications are in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, International Journal of Human Resource Management and Development, Journal of Social Psychology and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and Conferences like AOM and ANZAOM. He has supervised over 24 Post-doctoral, doctoral and M. Phil students, completed over dozen of sponsored/Consulting Projects and has been the Chair/Co-Chair/Member/Life-member of national/international professional bodies. At present, he is Co-Chair of second International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Family Business (January 8-10, 2020).
