Having just read the sample chapter, this is going to be an essential read for all UG children’s nursing students, we currently use edition 1, but to have this mapped to the latest NMC standards will ensure our students are prepared for their future as children’s nurse!
From looking at the table of contents alone, I can tell that this book will be filled with a lot of resourceful information that will assist students in each field of children's nursing. Each section has a clear heading that indicates where to locate the necessary information, as well as multiple subheadings that further divide the topic.
This book is an essential text for both under graduate and post graduate children’s nurses. It covers all the important principles and some contemporary issues facing the 21st century nurse. The reflection points and Bibliography are particularly impressive. Highly recommended
