This is a really useful little book! I love the pattern of 'what is the concept', 'why is this relevant to me' etc - really excellent stuff.

This book is really engagingly written. I was considering making it the main textbook for my 1st year methods module, but it isn't really appropriate for that because it is written in the format of an encyclopedia. I would definitely consider buying a more traditional methods textbook from this author though.

This is a very interesting book and will allow students to put various sections and topics within their undergraduate research into context.

It will be recommended that the Library purchase a limited number of copies.

This text provides a good overview for dissertation students. In addition the book should be highly recommended to level 2 students progressing into level 3 to obtain an understanding of the research process within Sport and Exercise

This is an excellent introductory text for students embarking on the study of research methods. There is good detail and examples, and an excellent revision text for those going to 'viva'.
