An informative book that is useful as a revision aide.
This book is adding to my collection of study skills literature for varying levels of use in each module I coordinate. This book has been reccomended to the LRC
We currently use another book entitled criminal Justice by peter Joyce which still remains our core text however this has been recommended as a library purchase
This book is methodologically a very good guide for both students and lectures on criminal law. It is highly recommended for undergraduate students on criminal law programs but also for those who study criminology in the postgraduate level with a non legal background.
As part of the Sage Course Companion series this book has outlined the Criminal Justice system and proved invaluable to the students in their understanding of the subject matter
The book has accurate and accessible information on the workings of the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales. I will be recommending it to the university subject librarian as supplemental reading material for stage 1 students.
