The module I am currently developing will be aimed at post reg students. Despite the book being written for pre-reg students I feel much of the content is relevent to all nurses working with people with dementia, especially those working in an acute care setting. The book is very well written and the structure is easy to follow. The authors offer some good practical advice on caring for people with dementia. The critical thinking activities throughout the book helped me engage in the content meaningfully. Therefore I will be pleased to include this book in the recommended reading list.
Although this book is well written, its focus is not well suited to the education of Occupational Therapists. i have therefore adopted a number of other books instead.
