“Homeland Security Intelligence does a superb job of reviewing the organizations involved in counter-terrorism intelligence (CTI) in the fragmented US system. Steiner’s text is unique in this regard. I am not aware of a competing textbook with such comprehensive coverage. The area can quickly devolve into an alphabet soup that confuses and alienates students. Homeland Security Intelligence is the best I have seen at breaking down the various actors involved in counter-terrorism intelligence.
