JCMS Case Reports, a SAGE Open Medical Case Reports publication, aims to reflect the state of the art in cutaneous biology and dermatology by providing insightful case reports for clinicians, trainees, and academicians. The evolving field of dermatology is highlighted through these articles.

2. An introductory article processing charge (APC)* of 670 USD, discounted from the full rate of 895 USD, is available for a limited time. Manuscripts for which one of the authors is a member of The Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) will receive a discounted APC of $250 USD.
3. Authors retain copyright under a Creative Commons License.
4. JCMS Case Reports recognizes the value and importance of peer review, and adheres to a conventional single-blind review policy.

*The article processing charge (APC) is payable upon acceptance after peer review and is subject to value added tax (VAT) where applicable. If the paying author/institution is based in the European Union, to comply with European law, VAT must be added to the APC. Providing a VAT registration number will allow an institution to avoid paying the tax, except for UK institutions. Payments can be made in GBP or USD.

The evolving field of dermatology is highlighted through these articles. JCMS Case Reports adheres to a conventional single-blind reviewing policy in which the identities of the reviewers are always concealed from the author(s).

Only case reports of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of the JCMS Case Reports will be reviewed.

As part of the submission process you will be required to warrant that you are submitting your original work, that you have the rights in the work, that you are submitting the work for first publication in the Journal and that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has not already been published elsewhere, and that you have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by you.
