"This will be a useful and highly relevant resource for independent prescribers, whether they are clinicians considering a refresher or students/newly qualified NMPs who need a reference text."
"Principles and practice of nurse prescribing takes a holistic and grounded approach to the complexities of modern prescribing practice. This textbook will be a valuable addition to the resources available for non-medical prescribers and, in particular, those from the nursing disciplines."
Current and topical for our DN cohort. Clear and informative.
Fantastic resource for faculty and learners alike and great that the eBook version is available. Will definitely be adding to reading list.
excellent and clear book
We feel it fits our module learning outcome well, which is "Safely apply the knowledge of prescribing to the care of the patient." This is for undergraduate students and so is a good resource for our nursing students to utilise.
We have added it to the reading list rather than essential as our program is multidisciplinary teaching, midwives, AHPs, and pharmacists prescribers and this book is only relevant to nurses.
The book was aimed toward Nurse community prescribing more than independent nurse prescribing and as we do not have many of these we felt we could not add it as essential
