An ideal book for practitioners wanting to update knowledge of Fostering, and essential for those within Fostering Services, wishing to develop their practice further.
This is a good text for those working in fostering. The reasoning behind having "National Minimum Standards" and their relationship with The Fostering Regulations could perhaps have been explained in a bit more depth but otherwise this was a clearly written and comprehensive book which fills a gap in the market

As most of my practice has been in foster care I enjoyed this book. It is a book that is useful for social workers, foster carers and students.
